WarGames occurs as video game for ColecoVision. the object is to avert a nuclear counterstrike by applying anti-ballistic missiles, interceptor jets, submarines, & the optical maser satellite to protect cities and bases from either incoming intercontinental ballistic missiles, jets, and submarines. A United States is divided into six sectors, both by having its have cities & bases. When cities & bases come destroyed, a Defense Condition (DEFCON) status for that sector decreases. A DEFCON level for both sector is factored into a number DEFCON status. Whenever a sum DEFCON status is at Single for even Lx seconds or once a lot cities & bases use at times been destroyed, a counterstrike is launched & the game is ended. the game is won by preventing the counterstrike hanker plenty for a prevent-truce to exist as reached.
A second version of the game was freed for Windows in 1998.
